It occurs to me that we have a rather high barrier to entry with this, what with the logins and the length of the process... but anyway, now it's documented.

Yes, I think it's useful (because I forgot to put the last one on our blog and social media outlets). However, the hardest part for me is (and most stressful) is clicking exactly the right things within Mailchimp. For example, how do you import new people into the mailing list, how do you find the TWIT template, how do you send a test email. I'm sure Mailchimp already has docs for the first and third item in that list so we can probably just link to those. In any case, it would be useful to have more detailed instructions.

For the most part - it still doesn't give you information on how to import new pre-orders into the list but you do note that you can ask for help.
