Fix for #13 #14

This pull request contains all commits for all issues you opened.

Please create separate branches as you did in your other PRs #16 and #18.

I'm sorry, I just wanted to spare others the problems I had with your plugin and gave you the changes I made.

I added issues as you requested, i even reverted everything on my end and tried to recreate my steps for the commits.

Everything from now on is not my concern anymore. I do not intend to invest any more time.

I do understand and I thank you for that, but if only you see the problem then the problem might be on your side. The utf8 issue seems to be legit and I will apply your patch. I'm still looking into the other 2 issues: error message and bugid (which I cannot reproduce, since it works perfectly for me).
