Hi @ngoan, @huavanthong , it would be really useful if we can have our debian installer automatically available for OSD users. Can you please check how this process works? Thank you, Thomas
Hi Thomas,
As our discussion, I found that we have a topic related to how to contribute our debian package into OSD platforms at here. However, we need to contact the OSD team for support.
Besides that, I'm also currently implementing the job for uploading all assets into the Package Registry. With this solution, users can easily install our Debian package by following these steps:
wget
command from our repository.dpgk
Could you help me confirm that we will continue to contribute our Debian package to the OSD platform? If you have any options, please let me know.
Thank you and best regards, Thong Hua
As discussed in our Meeting: Goal for OSD Linux is that we can install RobotFramework AIO directly with apt.
Hi Thomas,
I would like to update this ticket. To upload our package to the OSD infrastructure, we need to follow the steps below:
Beside that, I try to request OSD team to minimize the process for our package by uploading only our package to server because we have already exist the pipeline for it.
They answered that:
However we have some PoC plans for that. May be we can give an update in another three months
Please take it for your info, if you have any concerns, please tell me.
Thank you and best regards, Thong Hua
Hi @huavanthong , what is the status of this issue? Thank you, Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Following my discussion with the OSD team, they provided the below message:
As mentioned earlier, at present we are in between the migration process to new infra and the changes to old infra is freezed for the time being. Once the new infra is ready, we would get back to you.
Therefore, I think we will wait their info for this feature.
Thank you and best regards, Thong Hua
