Going to the next column in the same page, rather than to next page? #757

What is the expected output?

Going to the next column, rather than next page?

Thank you so much for this great reader! I especially love the "zoom to column"
function by double-tapping. It makes reading academic articles much easier.
Just one thing. Ebookdroid goes to the column in next page when finishing
reading one column, instead of going to the column in the same page, where the
article usually continues. I know Orizon Viewer can do this, but it is rather
tricky to make it work perfectly. Besides, you can't add notes to pdf files on
Orizon Viewer, so I always prefer Ebookdroid. Hope you'll make this supplement
soon.

On what operating system?
CM10.2.1

What device are you using?

Nook HD+

Hi! I fully agree with the author of this remark. The "zoom to column" feature
is definitely great, but it lacks the possibility of reading the next column if
it is located on the same page. BTW, even if the next column is on the next
page, the column "zoomed to" after "turning" the page is not correct (it is the
one which sits just beneath the precedent column, say the rightmost one, not
the true next column in order of reading).

OK. I will think how to improve this feature.

Right now I am using it in single page mode:

Look at full magazine page. Tap by two fingers on upper part of column. Read it
by scrolling till the end (there is scroll direction locking, so column not
moved to the left or right). Then I tap two fingers again to see full page
again and select next column.

Maybe there are too much taps, but it's definitely better than zooming and
scrolling in other readers.

Hi Andrei. Please do not foreget - if you will improve this feature as they like above - to add option to select "left to right" or "right to left" direction in transition from column to other in same page. This in regard of Arabic & Hebrew documents.

Great. I am looking forward to it. And I am with dr y.j.k about the "left to
right or "right to left" options. I suggest you take a look at Orion Viewer,
esp. its Book Options-Page traversal setting.
