make an about page/introduction for documentation website #57

maybe an "Intro" blurb on the landing page? similar or same as about page on squarespace?

I would say this should be an intro page targeted to users and contributors. I think there should also be an about page on the (squarespace) website, but that should be intended more for social media / press purposes.

Also, tagging this with the Explanation label to indicate it should be an Explanation page, unless there are counter-arguments that suggest otherwise.

This structure was something I shared with @thehannahfink who thought it would be a good direction to go for our page.
