Dear all who are so eager to explore ggplot2's development branch,
I know ggh4x is currently incompatible. This is due to the guide rewrite, in which I was involved.
I intentionally broke ggh4x in this way. It might be likely I move any guide functionality to another package altogether with the new guide system.
In any case, if you're very keen on using the dev version of ggplot2 with ggh4x, there is a 'no_guides' branch of ggh4x that should be compatible with ggplot2's dev version. You can install it with pak::pkg_install("teunbrand/ggh4x@no_guides").
Alright folks, I think the development version ggh4x is compatible again with ggplot2 after some reverse compatability measures have been introduced in ggplot2. Please let me know if you find any issues.
