Error:ROM not recognized. Please try another. #137

I really want to try out the randomizer. I've been trying to get it to work but no matter what I do I get the same message Error:ROM not recognized. Please try another. I've tried multiple rom's and I get the same result. I must be doing something wrong, could somebody point me in the right direction and give me some tips? I would really appreciate it

For me it is the same with the error.

Getting the same error. The ROM has the correct CRC, so something is definitely wrong with the website. Can we at least get a comment on this? Is anyone even maintaining this project anymore?

From the discord, hope this helps: Most of the time, this is your copy of LttP being faulty, but it could also be Super Metroid. The randomizer requires Japanese v1.0 of LttP, called Zelda no Densetsu - Kamigami no Triforce, and the non-PAL version of Super Metroid. Neither can have a copier header. Looks like that fixed it for me - my Zelda rom had the copier header. This doesn't seem to matter on the other randomizer so it's strange that this one cares.

alttpr.com has code that strips the header from the ROM when you feed it into the site.

I suspect SMZ3 doesn't do that, which is perfectly fine.
