If you don't have bombs/morph ball, this door won't open until you kill the enemy you cant reach to the far left. I'm playing with Open Mode by the way.

This room is also a deathtrap if no morph ball. It's directly to the right of the one I just mentioned.

Another deathtrap without a morph ball. Keep in mind that with the Open Route enabled, you can get here with basically no upgrades beyond missiles.

About the one in Hi-Jump, aren't you able to wait for the Geemer (or whatever it is called) to go all the way around, or does it get stuck?

Gets stuck. Once it's offscreen, I'm 70% certain it stops moving around. Even if it doesn't, it would take a LONG time to loop back around.
