Impossible/Extremely-difficult Hard seed: HX6072545 #51

I got into the randomizer over the weekend and discovered that Normal difficulty seeds were just too easy, so I bumped it up to Hard and I've hit an absolute cliff of a difficulty spike.

Gravity is in left sand pit, which is the bane of this seed. Speed Booster, Grapple, Wave Beam, Charge Beam, and Varia are all gated behind Gravity. Spring Ball is in pink (behind the PB door with the sidehoppers) and I guess is technically obtainable according to the VARIA Solver, but it seems irrelevant. And Space Jump is in Lower Norfair.

I've got Ice Beam, Hi Jump, Screw Attack, Morph, Bombs, PBs, Missiles, and Supers; I've cleared out everything in Crateria, Brinstar (yes, including X-Ray), Upper Norfair (including hell runs), and Wrecked Ship (Oh boy, learning how to CWJ...).

This is where I'm stuck. I tried getting to Maridia by going east of Wrecked Ship but that was a fruitless endeavor; without Space Jump or Gravity, I don't know how to get past the eastern Crateria lake.

According to VARIA, the way forward is through the glass tunnel and performing precise jumps and freezing fish to climb up & past Mount Everest. I saw a guide on how to do it and it looks daunting, but I believe my case is even harder than that due to the lack of firepower. I don't have Charge or Spazer (Spazer is in Wrecked Ship Reserve, requiring Speed Booster), so I would need to hit the first fish with 2 Missiles and 3 Ice shots while flying through the air and still have enough time to land on it to proceed. That, in my mind, is just bonkers and I'm not certain that it's humanly possible. I certainly can't find any footage of anyone accomplishing this. It just seems like with this equipment, Samus' DPS is too low to make what would have been an already ball-bustingly-difficult set of tricks way harder.

Perhaps this is possible and simply the caliber of precision gameplay that is expected of Hard Mode. By all means, tell me if I'm wrong and just need to "git gud" if that's the case, but it seems to me that the difficulty spike from Normal is way too harsh in this case.

It's possible, but very difficult. You have to get Spring Ball by using the glitch to open the gate with a Super Missile, then you have to climb the first Maridia room, not hard, just count your shots, then you have to climb Everest by freezing the crabs (this one is really tough), then you have to get to the left sand pit, then you have to do a tricky jump to get up to the first ledge, then you have to use the Spring Ball jump glitch for the next jump, then you should be able to make it up to where Gravity is. Also, it's possible to enter Maridia from the Wrecked Ship by using the Spring Ball jump glitch, but there is no point in doing that here.
