次のリリースは ~2020-03-01~ 2020-04-12 の予定です。

メモ：CTAN の https://ctan.org/pkg/ptex-texmf が改訂されて ASCII edition がなくなったので，README の修正が必要

pLaTeX は 2020-03-01 に出す予定でしたが，LaTeX 関係が慌ただしかったので一ヶ月以上遅らせ，TeX Live 2020 正式リリース後にしようと思います（pretest 中に出しても殆どテストされない気がしますし，ISO image の初版で pLaTeX が不安定になるのは避けたい）

  • ptex-base: eptexdefs.lib の \currentiftype の値
  • ptex2pdf: 新オプション -ld で platex-dev, uplatex-dev を起動

の二つは，2020-03-07 付けで CTAN に投稿しました。

メモ：そういえば，jsclasses に「\sffamily 対策」を入れた時に，minijs.sty にも同じ変更を入れるのを忘れていた。今度出す時に入れる。

  • ptex-manual: 新プリミティブの説明文

今日の夕方に出します。

TeX Live 2020 のスケジュールは

26mar: final updates from CTAN, final doc tweaks.

なので，これに間に合うように https://github.com/texjporg/jfontmaps/issues/27 も完了させたい…。

pLaTeX の更新予定について，改めて整理します。

  1. sub, ssub の和文対応（日本語の数式ファミリを宣言した状態で bm パッケージを使うとゴシックにならない問題への対策） (texjporg/jsclasses#53)
  2. \verb+>+ の周囲の和欧文間スペース (#87)
  3. \fontshape / \fontshapeforce で和文シェープが未定義なら変更しない (#90)
  4. \normalfont の最後で \ignorespaces しないように（→ LaTeX2e と互換）
  5. \KanjiEncodingPair による和文縦横エンコードのセット化をチェック (#92)
  6. 和文の \DeclareKanjiSubstitution が欧文の \DeclareFontSubstitution と干渉し，誤ったフォント定義ファイル (.fd) が読まれる問題へ対処 (#93)

このうち 1.--4. は 'master' に反映済み。最後の 5.--6. はまだ 'kanjiencodingpair' ブランチ (594bee5) にあります。参考まで，plnewsc14 の暫定版 → plnewsc14-594bee5.pdf

上記の全変更 1–6 を master に入れてあります。明日 2020-04-12 がリリース予定日。
