I don't see any issue on linux. Please provide a step-by-step description on what you, possibly by way of a screencast.
Hi, here is an example where the words 'iteratively' and 'adjoint' are unknown to the system:
The spell checker shows me this:
After having added 'iteratively' to the dictionary, the next suggestions for the unknown word 'adjoint' are shown, but 'iteratively' and 'alliteratively' are not replaced by 'adjoint' and the suggestion 'adjoin':
Only after having clicked into the two upper windows, the contents are updated:
Older versions of texstudio (2.11.x) showed the misspelled words and suggestions right away. It would be great if this could be fixed with 2.12.x. Alfred
still works fine on linux. Anybody can confirm on OSX/win ?
Works on win.
Not necessarily related, but the seem to be more update issues with OSX recently (#629).
Anybody can confirm on OSX/win ?
I can reproduce the problem on macOS 10.14.5, in texstudio 2.12.16 (qt 5.12.3).
Hi, when using the spell checker, after having added a word to the dictionary, the next unknown word is not shown automatically. One only sees the new suggestion, and only after clicking into the new-word-window the unknown word is displayed. This had happened with version 2.12.14 as well. On much older versions, it worked just fine.
Environment
Expected behavior
Show the next unknown word
Actual behavior
Only the next suggested correction is shown
How to reproduce
Just use the spell checker.
