Setup as default browser #221

Other browsers have a setting to set itself as a default browser: when a user clicks a link, the website is opened using it.

I didn't find such setting in Dooble...

This is a duplicate of a MacOS request. I am not pursuing this request because it is very system specific. Qt does not offer such a thing.

Ok I found a way to manually do it in linux:

BROWSER=
xdg-settings set default-web-browser dooble.desktop

Maybe you could document it somewhere?

Why? People must become familiar with their environment and although I believe in knowledge, this knowledge is transitory. In the purest of goodness of good intentions, this truth may become a false and then the people will be chasing an archaic truth which is now a false into oblivion. Stressing and rumoring and swearing at Dooble's incompetence. And I don't have an inkling of belief that any of this would happen but it may and special knowledge is special for not all.

Like everyone has been in a public old building that has that one stupid door that doesn't quite work well and will never be fixed and through visit after visit one becomes aware of its ways of working or not. So, there is a hidden knowledge there. No one puts a label or a README on the door about having to lift it or turn it or twist it into place. It's a specialty.

And the worst thing that happens is a place where people come to ask for questions and there are a billion notices everywhere about this and about that and all those notices are obsolete and some point to others which supersede information. It becomes tacky and I review my project and discard that nonsense periodically because it is tacky. It looks like I don't care. I care. You got to show love.

And right. Information has to be lively and that's impossible because the robots don't yet know how to liven it. They don't have the cleverness to go through things and correct them. Medical manuals from 20 years ago are dead now. 100 years ago you were told to inhale mercury.
