When using the snip tool, currently we first show a dark overlay that covers the entire window.
When the user drags to select a portion of the window, we simply show a square with a white border indicating that is the portion of the screen that the user is selecting.
The ideal behaviour is that there is a "hole" in the overlay of where the user is selecting text such that the portion within the selected square does not have a grey tint.
