Some minimal text on similarities with Dat #59

WIP... Could use some discussion and comments. Borrows heavily from @aschmahmann's initial/earlier comments. I'd really like to have someone with more experience with Dat take a look at this. Even with research, I'm sure we're going to miss interesting ongoing work that should be reviewed.
