Update Problem on TEZBOX #23

In order to resolve a problem in withdrawing XTZ from Tezbox, I saw a recommendation to update my Mac desktop from v5.0.2 to v6.0.1. I've tried to do that but when the new version opens it is still v5.0.2. Anybody have an idea what the problem is ....? Thanks.

@CKP1865 here … no, my issues aren’t resolved. I’m still not able to access my XTZ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you didn’t participate in the fundraiser, you’ll need to Restore your wallet using your private key (most preferred and advisable) or 12/15/24 word backup phrase on the galleon web wallet on www.galleon.network http://www.galleon.network/ using any of your web browsers. On opening the galleon web wallet, click on restore from backup.

You’ll have access to your funds upon a successful restoration.

Yes … but no joy …

I clicked www.galleon.network http://www.galleon.network/ on Chrome web browsers and clicked on restore from backup.

I then entered my 15 word seed phrase with a space between each word … and nothing happens …

Too many. I have a large number of messages from Jovan Smith who walked me through a number of steps that caused the creation of a number of wallets, all with zero balances. I finally ended up with a Galleon wallet, also with no balance. If I sent all of the messages that I exchanged with Jovan Smith you can see how this happened. Do you need to know exact number of new wallets. I will send whatever you want to see. I cannot afford to lose the asset value of my XTZ that has disappeared due to the many failures of TezBox.

Here are the messages exchanged with Jovan Smith that did nothing to solve the problem and only made it worse. This is how I ended up with a number of wallets ……..

March 14, 2020 When I visited my Tezbox after a long period I discovered that there are no visible controls to either withdraw or undelegate accounts. The balances shown are correct, but there are apparently no means to accomplish any management.

I have two accounts, one delegated and one not delegated. I cannot figure out how to accomplish the step to undelegate. Also, I see no means to withdraw XTZ from Tezbox, which is a great concern. Please help. Thank you.

It is only compatible with Firefox and Chrome Browsers

TezBox suffered some operational failures post Carthage 2.0 upgrade to the Tezos Protocol. You can use our Web version which is operational! Ensure you have all the correct credentials before restoring.

Currently there are two issues that remain and I cannot give a timeline on we they will be fixed so please bear with us. The two issues are delegating and importing Kt1 addresses.

It is only compatible with Firefox and Chrome Browsers

TezBox suffered some operational failures post Carthage 2.0 upgrade to the Tezos Protocol. You can use our Web version which is operational! Ensure you have all the correct credentials before restoring.

You can import a Kt1 address by clicking on options within the wallet and copy and paste your Kt1 account within the area that says import. I have attached a screen shot depicting where this can be done. Also, the final patches addressing importing Kt1 addresses and Delegation for the TezBox Wallet have been tested, debugged and uploaded for the "Web" Version only and are now fully functional.

If you follow the directions in the message I sent and restore using the Web Wallet then you will be able to import your Kt1 account. Please ensure that you use the correct seed phrase and link to Web Wallet is in previous correspondence.

I now have a new account with no assets in it and no evident means to import a Kt1 address. What do I do now? Please help.

Perhaps I’m getting confused (in fact I know I am) as I’m dealing with tech support on several of my nightmare wallets … but I have now lost the TezBox version that displayed my two accounts and the coins in them. Now I done (in complete frustration) restored the account again and get a Manager # account and not my two original accounts. Screen shot below:

As you can see below in my last message to you, the last restoration has lost all of my original information and now a Manager 3 account shows which means nothing to me. What is happening? It is only compatible with Firefox and Chrome Browsers

TezBox suffered some operational failures post Carthage 2.0 upgrade to the Tezos Protocol. You can use our Web version which is operational! Ensure you have all the correct credentials before restoring.

Currently there are two issues that remain and I cannot give a timeline on we they will be fixed so please bear with us. The two issues are delegating and importing Kt1 addresses.

If you follow the directions in the message I sent and restore using the Web Wallet then you will be able to import your Kt1 account. Please ensure that you use the correct seed phrase and link to Web Wallet is in previous correspondence.

Perhaps I’m getting confused (in fact I know I am) as I’m dealing with tech support on several of my nightmare wallets … but I have now lost the TezBox version that displayed my two accounts and the coins in them. Now I done (in complete frustration) restored the account again and get a Manager

account and not my two original accounts. Screen shot below:
