Always provide a means for someone to remove content; or REQUEST removal of content even if they're not a listowner or a contributor. i.e. provide the tools/means to avoid this: https://tech.michaelaltfield.net/2024/03/04/lemmy-fediverse-gdpr/

Lists and items can easily be deleted by listowners and contributors. Content IN lists and items can be deleted through editing those items. However:

public/anon needs to flag items or content IN an item and request its removal.
any item with request2remove content has its content immediately hidden from list views; the item remains, in placeholder form, in thelist, but anything visible about it is replaced with something like "this item has been flagged for review" or something.
flagged items go into list moderation queue
