Tokenomics for a curation DAO [Codeless]

Imagine a space in a museum or a stage in a festival, that’s fully curated by the community of the institution. A swarm of DAOs where artists can collaborate, share profit, and build secondary markets with curators, collectors & galleries in the metaverse or in real life. A digital space where communities can make themselves heard.

In this bounty, we are looking for a detailed whitepaper / conceptual documentation about how curation DAOs could be implemented, with detailed tokenomics and feasibility checks.

Hints and Guidelines

We would like to invite you to think outside the box of entrenched crypto-economic thinking. Technology has never been enough to change society for the better - we are looking for innovative and disruptive thoughts on how the tools we have could be leveraged to create systems that empower genuine communities of human beings.

Bring your knowledge of economics, game theory and the crypto (or arts) ecosystem to bear on the question, and help our fellows see better in envisioning their future engagement with the cryptosphere.

Consider the following:

Tokenizing decision making power can allow hostile takeovers. How can the community be protected from such?
How can an on-chain community be shielded from plutocracy? (Should it be?)
How can institutions protect their identity and inherent values, without reducing community engagement to a mere formality?
What are the effects of different voting models on the behavior of DAOs?
How can the community stay strong as individuals enter and leave?

Deliverables

A detailed whitepaper of at least 5 pages with reasonable font size and margins, written to the standards of a scientific publication (including citations for all non-original material), detailing:

Tokenomics
Voting models
The consequences of such
Potential challenges and risks

A slide deck, and an approximately 5 to 10 minute video, explaining the main concepts in the whitepaper.

Judging criteria

Appropriateness: How applicable is the proposed solution to the needs of cultural institutions?

Novelty: Innovativeness of the whitepaper

Depth: are potential risks, issues and challenges appropriately addressed?

Feasibility: How feasible is the implementation, looking at the current capabilities and limitations of the Tezos protocol?

Prizes

$5000 in tez for the best submission

$3000 in tez for the second-best submission

$1000 in tez for the third-best submission

We reserve the right to not pay out prizes if none of the applicable submissions meet the minimum criteria.

Today culture workers have to meet the official government and institutional discourse, permanently care about funding, and manage all operating activities on their own, loosing their key focus of research and art. At the same time the culture community is divided into small local groups and isolated from each other belonging to specific geographies and institutions. In this paper we offer an organisation mechanic that will reunion representatives of four culture branches in one common space of MetaVerse and provide the favourable landscape, both in terms of funding and operations, for cooperation to research, product, display and publish. We describe the 7-stage DAO lifeflow and review key risks including the issues about possible collusions and plutocracy, protection for personal identity and free-rider problem. I missed the hyphen between the whitepaper ..
