Having cl_ragdoll_physics_enable set to 0 will cause the game to instantly crash when any player on a server uses boioing or stomp.
Setting tf2c_boioing to 0, or enabling ragdoll physics fixes the issue.
This was discovered on Proton, though I'd assume it's the same for normal Windows clients.
