i've tried reproducing this with the mine layer, but it doesn't work (probably because the mine layer comes to a dead stop the moment it touches a surface, unlike the SBL) this might've existed since before 2.1.4, but i didn't bother doing any testing for the previous versions
requirements for reproduction on any map: an inwards-facing corner as seen in the video provided, outwards-facing corners don't work.
shoot the wall next to the wall you want the stickybomb to clip through and hope you have a good enough aim angle, the stickybomb might clip through the wall when it touches the wall.
an extreme example of a stickybomb clipping through a brush:
