Hi, this is awesome. Great work!

I'm curious if I could adapt this system to monitor my house. I'd like to setup a camera and identify video frames with rodents in them. This would help me identify rodent entry points that I could seal up.

My question is: how important was the RFID tagging in your work? Can I identify rodents without tagging them? I won't be able to tag wild mice :D

Hi,

Thanks. The RFID is important for keeping track of the same mouse but isn't really important to detect mouse. Are you just trying to detect where mice appear and disappear? Then yes, that could be done without RFID tagging with tthe downstream pipelines.
