High pitched constant whine in audio of camera. #57

There is a constant high frequency whine in the camera audio. The whine gets more or less noticeable as the microphone auto-gain goes up and down. Perhaps I just need a better camera as described in issue #3, or maybe there is a setting somewhere. For instance, maybe the whine is electronic bleed from the camera's CPU, so maybe changing some innocuous setting on the camera could change the frequency and make the whine go away.

I tried some configuration changes, such as changing 3D DNR, the resolution, the bandwidth, and other things. No change in the noise.

To do:

See if you can get a situation where you repro the noise more or less "live" at the camera itself. See if plugging up the mic hole on the camera makes the noise go away. If so, then it's environmental (I don't think it is).

Closing this issue because the camera failed and now I'm looking for another camera.

New camera does not exhibit the same high pitched whine.
