at the 9:45:29 am point - Interesting observation: Seagull is able to get some kibble to come out of the feeder just by landing on the platform hard enough that it shakes some food out.
One idea I have:
Place a metal bar or rod inside the feeder, up against the inner wall where the holes are. The rod should partially block the holes, effectively making them slightly smaller by creating a "ledge" that holds the food in the openings a bit better. Squirrels and crows will still have no problem getting the food because they can sit there and dig it out, but seagulls would be less able to get it.
This hasn't been an issue recently. The Seagulls only come around very rarely now, and when they do, they don't get much if any food at all. Closing this issue as "won't do".
