Fix issue #53 #54

Hi Thomas, with reference to issue #53 I tried to change the line you suggested using typescript v2.5.1 and the build worked like a charm!!!

This is my 50c

Please consider this fix as urgent so I can upgrade typescript version in my project.

Coverage remained the same at 99.297% when pulling 803911b05c55e7e6b576e3f9e6ade6526ecc18ad on lucaritossa:master into 34bc39b699e82e32a761b325252908a113c3a960 on tflori:master.
