smileys displayed as misc/chinese characters in preview #61

very minor issue: on the preview page (where the background is visible after double-tapping the n9), when a smiley was sent from an iphone (i think android as well) user, the smiley is displayed as some misc. character (usually chinese or ahem asian looking anyway).

I've tried to fix it, but meego notifications doesn't support images inside the notification text Maybe the only solution for now is removing it from the notification for now

But what happens then if someone just sends an emoji without text? Maybe converting emojis into ascii smileys could be used as workaround?

This issue will be fixed with combined this issue. (https://github.com/tgalal/wazapp/issues/87)

If every emoji have character , we can show that character on notification.I don't think ascii smileys can provide all emojis.
