temp1 was created at the last minute for the demo. It can just be ripped out.
mindate is a little more complicated, and I would like to talk to Tim about where the api is going before we take that one out.
Either way, someone needs to dig out all the references to these things in the various configuration files (some combination of grep 'mindate' *, and running the server and seeing if it crashes).
