Support for Windows 7 #23

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The aplication not start
2. Synaptics kernel driver registry key missings. Reinstall drivers.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

The aplication not start, "Synaptics kernel driver registry key 
missings. Reinstall drivers." I reinstalled, updated and it says the 
same. Its a HP Pavilion dv612la with windows 7 64-bits beta build 7000.

Run as Administrator resolves this issue for me, however it still says that my
Touchpad doesn't support multiple fingers.

I have the same issue. I'm Running Vista Home Premium 64bit, Synaptics drivers
v11.2.15   I am signed in as the admin, and it still tells me, "Synaptics kernel
driver registry keys missing. Reinstall drivers." I've installed several 
synaptic
updates and still no victory. i work with macs, a lot, and i'm sad not to have 
this
support yet on my asus.

nevermind, i realized to run as admin, it's a right click, but then i get a 
"it's
already enabled, just restart" i restart "it's enabled either you didn't 
restart or
your touchpad doesn't support multi touch" how does one fix this?

I am trying to use this program on my lenovo s10 windows 7 beta build 7022 and 
have
the same problem. Does it have sth to do with the synaptics driver? I 
downloaded the
driver 10.1.1806Dec07 for vista32 from Synaptics official website. What am I 
gonna do
to enable the two finger scroll on windows 7?

OK, I finally get it working on my lenovo s10 in windows 7. Here's what I did:
1. download touchpad drivers for Lenovo Ideapad U330 for vista on Lenovo 
official
website and the current version is V11.1.1 03Apr08.
2. disable the preloaded pinch function in control center->mouse.
3. Run two finger scroll as administrator.
4. Enjoy :)

This was working on my vista 64bit, now it's not working in my windows 7 32 or 
64 
bit version, saids that a kernal is missing and I need to reinstall synaptics 
driver. I install a modded synaptics driver and it seems to work now (10.2.4)
not sure if the newer drivers have something missing that twofingerscroll needs

Dell XPS 1330 and 1340 running Windows 32 bit and 64 bit,respectively
I didn't need this program for the 1340, since the touchpad for it supports two 
finger scrolling for win7. But I do require this for the 1330...which is kinda 
annoying

I have a Lenovo s12 with ion.(windows 7)
I CANNOT GET THIS TO WORK FOR ANYTHING!!
I have downloaded every type of driver available.
The most I get out of anything is the 10.2.4.0 driver and that gives me chiral.
I never get a two finger scroll icon in my tray. I get NOTHING! 
Can someone please help me

Works for me on Win 7 (32) with Synaptics v14
Just don't forget to start the two finger scroll program once it's installed and
rebooted ^__^

try running this on 64bit machines to register the drivers. It made the trick 
for me:

c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\syncom.dll
c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\synctrl.dll
