Macbeth won't open on latest macOS beta #28

I'm on Mac OS X 10.12.6. When I try to open Macbeth, I get an error. I searched around and it seems that this is the only solution. I tried it on my installation and it works.

Any updates? I'm running version mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1 (17B1003), and Macbeth doesn't work.

It seems to be difficult to provide a working binary for all versions of macos/osx. But Macbeth should at least run on the current version of macos.

So I rebuild Macbeth on High Sierra and uploaded a new binary to the homepage. Would you mind downloading it and see if it works?

oh!, and I fixed some issues today! Better download today again. The version is 0.0.27. Sorry!

Hi. I'm using a High Sierra 10.13.6 at the moment, and it's not working. I do get a login module. I can also login and access an interface, but almost nothing shows up in the interface. Thanks

There is a problem. After I checked "automatically login" and then changed the pwd on FICS, I can no longer use Macbeth because there is no option to not automatically login with the old password. Best, GL

Could you try this: In 'Settings' set 'autologin' to 'false' With the next login you'll be asked for username password again. Select 'autologin'. The new credentials should be stored.

Hi. I can't get into "settings." The seek, match, finger, history, and setting icons are pale-colored and not clickable.

Hi GLenote, I finally found the time to look into this. It sounds like you run the new 'dark mode'. I have the same issue on my machine. I researched the problem and it is with one of the libraries I use that doesn't support 'dark mode' yet, So I cannot fix this easily myself. I hope that I can provide a fully working Macbeth soon, but I guess it'll take at least a year..

Sometimes my interface just closes. I don't see a reason for it. Instead of sending the report to Apple, I thought to send it to you. Here it is attached from text editor.

I provide a script that allows users to bundle Macbeth for themselves and to avoid the problem that the dmg I provide might not be compatible with a different macos versions than mine.
