Typing entered into .shader files get applied twice #256

When I type "something" into a file with a .shader extension, the result is "ssoommeetthhiinngg", and when I paste, the text is pasted twice. This is with Visual Studio 17.7. Disabling the extension makes the problem go away.

I have exactly the same problem.

Same issue here on VS 17.10.4, extension version 1.1.304
