About The Pull Request

Buffs the HvX tank vision by 1 tile before: image after: image

Why It's Good For The Game

Currently tank suffers from essentially reduced vision from his bigger model to vision ratio. Combined with its low mobility and lack of IFF it encourages tank crews to take less risks as one mistake can result in them getting swarmed due to lack of vision and removal from the round. This change hopes to give tank more situational awareness and reduce those effects.

If tank is getting swarmed it's either a skill issue on the tank or on the marines supporting it, a TANK BUFF is crazy

The tank does not need a buff at all. Incongruencies between modes are to be expected for balance reasons, and we explicitly have a gunner zoom module without allowing firing as a way to gain more vision at the expense of slowed reaction time to threats within effective sight.

Please do not buff the tank. If it is getting swarmed, it is a skill issue or a lack of necessary Marine support— not an issue of balancing.

In hvx it probs only needs +1 range, so it's vision is functionally normal from the edges of the tank (I.e. tank can see ceno if xeno can see tank).

I suppose they still got the zoom module so yea ill reduce it to 1

The slow reaction is artificial thanks to byond lagging the fuck out when your vision gets fucked with in any way (aka. changed mid-playing) which is what the zoom module does. Which leads to quite a lot of gunners ignoring it because it's more of a detriment then help for the most part.
