The inital setup is cumbersome to use. You can't re-enter bad credentials unless you manually delete the config file.
When inputting a password no characters are displayed. This is confusing to some users, it appears as if the program is unresponsive.
Describe the solution you'd like
When an incorrect password is provided it should return to the username prompt rather than immediately exit. At least, the config file shouldn't be written until the first successful login.
The password prompt should hide the user's input with *s rather than hiding it.
