motd language problem #185

If i use traditional chinese in MOTD leaderboard It will show UnicodeDecodeError: 'cp950' codec can't decode

hopefully get solution

Thanks, I'll take a look. Can you provide an example string that causes the crash?

Hi, I tried putting some traditional Chinese characters in an motd file and it didn't reproduce this crash. Please provide the motd file you used to generate the crash. Either paste it here and specify the file encoding or upload the file somewhere and link it here.

Does this help you find the error ? greeter can't work with traditional Chinese characters too .
