Does Elysium/Lilypond work under MacOS 14?

I recently upgraded to Eclipse v 23-12, and it seems that Lilypond no longer compiles or displays my scores. Yowch! A look around the thsoft (http://thsoft.hu/) website suggests no Lilypond or Elysium updates since 2021. Am I the last lilypond user standing? Is it time for me to go back to my former hand-edit/command-compile/pdf-review routine?

• the actual output you got
• the output you would have expected Make sure to include screenshots/screencast and the contents of the Error Log view (from the main menu, select Window > Show view > Other. Then select General > Error Log).

2. make changes to already-selected file in editor
3. save .ly file [command] s
4. no pdf score appears, in window nor on file system

subsequent attempt to update or install from thsoft.hu fail via apparent non-visibility of the source platform to current "marketplace" searchable content

Sorry to butt in... @dickvalentine : Could you check the following points, as the screenshots indicate that Elysium is not completely broken (Score Library view present, Score view present, syntax highlighting,..)

• Do you have a lilypond file for which the pdf is already generated? If so, select it in the Score Library view an check if the pdf is shown in the Score view.
• Elysium itself does not compile the file, it uses the lilypond installed on your system. Check that the path to the executable is configured correctly. The configuration at Window->Preferences->LilyPond->Compiler (maybe you have to press F10 to see the main menu entries?) should have an entry "Path to LilyPond executable" pointing to the file you would use for manual compilation.
• Is there any output in the console view if you explicitly invoke compilation (Ctrl-R or LilyPond->Recompile Edited) for an open lilypond file?

Thank you for your diagnostic tips. I tried your suggested tests, and got results as follows:

• My workspace has many lilypond files and associated outputs. The answer is, yes, if I select an existing score from the project "Score Library" it is properly displayed in the Score View. See attached screen shot. I use emacs for editing, compile from the command line, and view with "open" as a workaround to the instant issue. There is a pdf output for my current score project in the same directory with my other workspace files, but it does not appear in the "Score Library" list. Therefore, I can't select that score for the test.
• Lilypond is set to use the working, current lilypond executable from its installed place. See attached screen shot. The location matches the invocation I use in my ~/bin/lilypond shell script, quote:

exec /Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond "$@"

• I tried Ctrl-R (also Command-R), and neither had any effect I could observe. In particular, no output to the console view. I'm unable to locate a "Recompile" in any of the menus.

Thanks very much for your attention to my issue. I'm pleased to try any further sensible diagnostic or potential self-repair you might recommend. Meanwhile, as I mentioned, it seems I'll be doing my work in emacs/command-line for the foreseeable.

I updated eclipse in my Mac environment (Sonoma 14.4.1) to the recent Eclipse v 2024-03. Ensured the marketplace client was installed. Marketplace doesn't have any reference to elysium nor to lilypond, as far as I can tell. I also tried the "drag & drop" button from your website http://elysium.thsoft.hu/, again no success. I've been using emacs as my development environment, not as convenient for workflow as elysium but has the advantage that I can create scores, at least. Any info you might provide regarding why I can't get elysium installed, or a workaround to get it going, or an estimate if/when it will be available via marketplace, would be much appreciated. thanks!
