As a user I want to filter activities based on specific criteria, so that I can quickly find activities that match my preferences and needs.

  Acceptance criteria

  • [ ] The activities list includes a section with filter options.
  • [ ] Users can filter activities by category.
  • [ ] Applied filters are clearly displayed on the activities list, allowing users to see which filters are currently active.
• [ ] Users can clear all filters with a single click, returning the list to its unfiltered state.
  • [ ] The activities list updates in real-time as filters are applied or removed.
  • [ ] The filter interface is intuitive and easy to use, ensuring that new users can easily understand how to apply and clear filters.
  • [ ] If no activities match the selected filter criteria, a message is displayed indicating that no activities were found.

Tasks

• [ ] Create feature branch feature/filter-activities
• [ ] Create a drop down menu reading "filter activities" that allows user to filter the activities according to categories
• [ ] make sure the selected category is highlighted
• [ ] Use filter method to display filtered list with clear button returning the list to its unfiltered state.
• [ ] Display message when filtered list is empty(array.length===0)
