@kracekumar, I think I fixed this with https://github.com/thamizha/android-tamilvisai/commit/3ab96a9c62017c591b91d2a71f0badc0d481714d Probably @mugunth has to upload to a new build to the play store?
@oligoglot As I remember, Thamizha doesn't have Google Play account as of now. So unable to update the play store version as long as the original uploader changes it. Else Thamizha should buy a Google Play Store account.
@mayooresan I second the suggestion that we have "thamizha" accounts for app stores and the like. That way we are not dependant on individual contributors being free to make updates ... could you raise this in the group via email?
@askalot Sure will do eod.
@mayooresan Who owns https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=ThamiZha!&hl=en then? @kracekumar @mugunth @askalot
Hi Sundar, I dont have any idea about this account. Its surprising. See the date, its created in 2011, I think Jegadeesan might have renamed his personal account to thamizha. Will check with him.
Just confirmed with Jegadeesan, he owns the account, he will transfer the account to our common email id thamizhaproj@gmail.com tomorrow. And we can have control over it. Will share the pwd with anyone who likes to manage our play account. @askalot u already have the thamizha email access details right ? you can help out initially.
Things sorted out then.
@oligoglot Yeap it was Mr. Jegadeesan renamed his personal account into Thamizha's branding. I remember he was sending out the message in our mailing list.
Great. Please update the build in the store with the latest.
I looked into code https://github.com/thamizha/android-tamilvisai/blob/master/tamilvisai/res/xml/tamil99.xml#L48, everything seems to be correct. But in the position of
ங
ஞ
(next to va) appears but the unicode value is picked up properly. I also downloaded the imagetamil99_nga.png
that one renders properly. Any help ?
