Horizontal movement not smooth (iPhone)

On current iPhone version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Point towards an area of POIs
2. Move phone up/down: note drawing is smooth
3. Move phone left/right: note drawing is NOT smooth, POIs seem to jump in the 
screen, not travelling smoothly.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Horizontally move/draw POIs with same smoothness as when moved vertically.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest iPhone version from th iStore.

Please provide any additional information below.

Since I converted the source to ARC (Automatic Reference Counting), it works 
smoother than before. Anyone also thinks so?
