I too have the same issue. Connecting via wifi is easy however connecting
through my 3G network does not work. I found my computer's IP address through
"WhatsMyIP.org" and figured I would create a new connection for when I am
connecting through 3G. Seemed like a reasonable course of action and naturally
kept all other setting the same as the connection created to access through
wifi. Unfortunately, it does not connect??? Hmmmm .... is it my cologne??
Please help??

Oh yes, one more thing. I have TightVNC Server installed on my computer and it
is operating in "Service" mode.

check this out ! i BELIEVE im almost 100% sure im correct; when connecting to
vnc or what ever, its only connection to your computer is threw wifi thats why
you have to find the IP address that correspond with where your computer is at
in the area . with 3G you can be anywhere , if your computers wifi is out of
range it will not connect you to your computer ; i believe . (Ive never used
this specific android app but ive bin running VNC servers for years already)
good luck

Most likely the problemų is that there is no access to the VNC server from
external networks such as the GSM connection. First of all the connection
should be checked from a computer not on the same LAN. Also, it should be noted
that basic VNC communication is fairly insecure.
