Establishing Handshake hanging and then failing, vista64 + UltraVNC #64

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. attempting to connect to remote machine with android vnc
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a connection to my pc, instead establishing handshake hangs and then fails

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ultra vnc on vista64

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem on Vista64 using RealVNC server. Have check firewall 
settings 
are correct. I can ping the 'phone from the server.

Original poster here, I found I could get it to work when in the vnc 
installation on the pc I turned 
encription to 'prefer off' or words to that effect. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Lee. I'll try this. I've tried several different VNC servers now: they 
all have 
the same problem.

I was able to get mine to work by going into windows firewall and making sure 
port
5900 was open, duhh

To be fair, anyone with any common sense has moved onto W7 now as Vista is just 
an
abortion that isn't worth attempting to work around.

I know all of my forwarding and repeater settings are okay because I can 
connect with 
my computer just fine. I just can't connect with Android VNC. I have tried 
changing the 
color depth and other options. I also have watched the VNC repeater log and do 
not even 
see any activity when trying to connect. I have repeaters on both Win2k and 
WinServer2003. I have UltraVNC servers running on Win2k, WinServer 2003, & 
WinXP. Is 
there a better repeater program to use? Thanks.
