Editor bug in WebKit #290

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type 'abc' in gmail editor
2. Select the whole text
3. Click on Bold or Italics
4. Click three times Bullet/numbered list
5. Text will disappear and strange things will happen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Single list item visible in editor.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win7, Chrome 11.0.696.12 dev and Safari 5.0.3.
Occurs also with closure-library@772.

Please provide any additional information below.
Seems only WebKit is affected, both uncompiled and compiled library.
