virtual-commentvery useful and, since I'm using Spacemacs, liked the idea of having a layer ready. However, I don't want the remaining layer features, so I ended up copying the vc parts (mainly keybindings). I'm not sure if it is worth a layer on its own or an option in some existing layer which can be toggled, but having it available as it is configured here (which integrates very nicely) would be awesome, indeed. Also, if you're fine with others doing it, consider also this a permission request. I'll do it if I could handle the conditional loading of another package in a Spacemacs layer depending on selected/toggled options or features (which I can take a stab at). In any case, thanks for these great package and layer repos!
