BSD portability? #32

I would like to test QSciTE on various BSD/X11 platforms. Our goal is to be
portable to anything our dependencies are portable to, and if that includes
BSD, there's some work to do.

Good idea.  I'd been meaning to try PC-BSD in a VM at some point, so maybe this 
will
give me an excuse to stop being so lazy :)
