@dannyjnwong I can't remember if Level 2 might have been used for non-critical care areas etc. In which case these patients should remain in the cohort

Level 2 is considered HDU care. So if they started out having level 2 care then I think they should be excluded just like we exclude level 3 patients. And if we are saying that planned postoperative admission to critical care intervention of interest is admission to either level 2 or 3, then it would make sense to exclude those who had pre-op level 2 care from the cohort.
