upgrade to 7.0 made podax unusable - keeps "downloading" etc

I had used some prev version for a while and had accumulated quite a long playlist I was going to listen to. I think all podcasts were stored to external sd card

upon upgrade to 7.0 it

first reset location to internal storage, I reverted setting to "external"
nearly all podcasts started to "download" with 0% indicator in the list
those which were marked as downloaded (probably the ones I have started listening but didn't finish) say "The podcast has not been downloaded" if I try playing them
ads appear upon every entry to some dialog (settings etc)
one "Downloading ..." is stuck in the Ongoing notifications and hang there without any indication of any progress
actually it seems still to download to internal storage -- I see files being populated under /Android/data/com.axelby.podax/files
changing settings back to "internal storage" started to show some podcasts as available (some with 5486% downloaded)...

I think I fixed this in b8147f5 but I don't have a good way of testing it. I can almost test it on the emulator and it attempts to move every file from the old storage location to the new storage location but there are permission issues which shouldn't exist on real device.

Great -- thank you @thasmin Do you think you will furnish a new release some time soon to the play store or I would need to build/install it myself to test? P.S. for now I was forced to disable download manager (again) since otherwise podax doesn't give up -- tries to download episode(s) which already has, although I have changed location settings back to the internal storage
