OpenSeadragon has moved! #31

Open thatcher opened 11 years ago

thatcher commented 11 years ago

Ian Gilman, one of the orignal authors of Seadragon, now OpenSeadragon, has created a new organization and repository to focus on OpenSeadragon.

http://github.com/openseadragon/

We made a solid rush to address long term issues that Thatcher (me) has previously, with apologies, done his best to ignore while under a heavy workload in his otherwise (over) fulltime job.

Many existing tickets will be addressed in the next couple days, some may be complete, while others may lay in wait while we transition to the new github organization.

Thank you for your patience and contributions.

Sincerely, Chris Thatcher

Ok, we've officially made the switch! There's a lot of cleanup to do, but everything's over at https://github.com/openseadragon, and development is halted on this repo. I'll update here as things get cleaned up in the new repos.

Ok, the repos are cleaned up and ready for forking. The website still needs a little more cleanup, but that'll come soon. I'll leave this ticket open as a reminder to newcomers.

tickets have been migrated along with source and better separation of concern.

thanks again to ian gilman for stepping up and making this clone a new organization.

this ticket will remain open to help reference additional issues submitted here for a short time.

In the description of the repo, you have http://openseadragon , github.io/ instead of http://openseadragon.github.io/!

@dom111 Good catch!

@thatcher Looks like I don't have edit powers on this repository to fix it. Would you mind taking care of it?
