Snow Leopard error with custom reminders #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup iCalBirthdays with alerts for birthdays and reminders in a workflow
2. Set the reminder to custom and leave the default string, 5 days before
3. Run the workflow

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

    Instead of creating the calendar, a coercion error occurs.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

  iCalBirthdays v1.7.1, Snow Leopard v10.6.2

Please provide any additional information below.

  The script runs normally if a message other than custom is selected.  I had this issue with 
earlier versions of snow leopard as well.
