Show myTBA data on event/team activities #375

As part of investigating the unexpected notification I noticed that there is no visual indication in any view or on the team page that I have subscribed for any kind of notification related to the team.

It would be VERY handy if the app could indicate that I have subscriptions on a team in the different views so I can find any I no longer want and remove them (or adjust them accordingly). When on the team page the app should be able to indicate that I have subscribed to some notifications. With the material design I get the little star button in the bottom corner but that does not indicate anything. It is just how I get to the settings.

It would be very helpful to have a "Favorites" or "Watched" tab on each event to easily see what teams at the event I am keeping tabs on. Ideally there would be a visual indicator in the list views like "Teams" ala Spyders color bar that would allow me to easily tell who I am subscribed to w/o needing to go to a different tab.

On the team page can we get a gold star or perhaps a textual list of any subscriptions that have been set on the team?

Just some requests to consider for next year. (If I get some spare time in the off season Ill try to contribute some patches for some of this.)

This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but if you go to the myTBA option on the nav drawer, you can see everything you've marked as a favorite or subscribed to notifications for. We can definitely look into better, more "inline" indications of fav/sub status. On Apr 3, 2015 13:24, "IAmAGitNewbie" notifications@github.com wrote:

It is helpful to see that data from myTBA. It also allows me to see that there are apparently 2 sets of settings for my team.

From the event page I select my team and then pull up the settings to see only 1 checked:

notification02

when I go to myTBA and select the team@event I see all the settings checked:

notification05mytba

This is a disjoin for sure and Im not sure where it came from. Perhaps my reinstall?

Also, can someone explain the how the team and team@event settings are used when they are different? Can I change the settings per team per event?? (Nice but a little confusing!)

Hmm, that's strange... Can you file that under the other issue so we can keep related info in one place.

Split off as requested.

Also, we can work on showing mytba subscriptions on the event model pages

If you navigate to an Event > a Team > Matches, it shows that team number in bold in the match listings. Very nice.

So an example of more visual indication would be when you navigate to an Event > Matches, it'd show your favorite team numbers in bold in the match listings. That'd be very handy to tell when to pay attention to matches.
