i've the same issue
Same thing here
I have the same issue on Debian Buster using Xfce and light-locker from the stable repository.
Very similar issue but light-locker-command -l
doesn't make a difference. All I get is a black screen with a cursor and no keybinds work. Because of it, I have to restart my system to make things work properly again.
I have posted a reply but since in fact the phenomenon is similar but different from the main post, and I have updated the system, it seems to me better to repost it, along with new logs.
Environment: Debian Buster 10 xfce4-power-manager 1.6.1 light-locker 1.8.0 lightdm: 1.26.0
Phenomenon: After resume from the suspend triggered by xfce4-power-manager, I was sent to the greeter. I inputted the correct password, and then sometimes the screen became black with a (movable) mouse cursor. I caught a log at the moment: light-locker-part.log
Workaround: I switched back to VT7, then a message
This session is locked: You will be redirected to the unlock dialog automatically in a few seconds
is shown, and then I was sent to the greeter again. However, after inputting the correct password, I succeed to login. A complete log is caught then: light-locker-compl.logTries:
Complements: I don't suffer from the issue if I lock the screen with
light-locker-command -l
, just between the period I suffer from the issue above for suspends.Similar issues: https://askubuntu.com/q/961172/67646 (difference: I was redirected after the message was shown) https://github.com/the-cavalry/light-locker/issues/138 (same as above) https://github.com/the-cavalry/light-locker/issues/114 (In my case, the cursor is always there and movable)
