Browsers (Firefox/Electron) go to 100% CPU for several minutes after unlocking #161

The time they spend spinning their wheels is proportional to the time spent locked: it's not noticeable for a few minutes of locking but is a couple of minutes for an overnight lock.

This issue happens every time I lock and started when I switched from xscreensaver to ligh-locker.

As it's not necessarily a light-locker issue, I've described it in more details here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/670896/firefox-seems-to-need-catchup-time-after-unlocking-screen-using-light-locker

Any suggestions appreciated!

I can confirm I have this same issue on my machine, running Gentoo. I can also confirm that it doesn't occur with xscreensaver nor with cinnamon-screensaver.

@safisynai, does the solution I posted on the stackexchange link work for you? (disable hardware accel)
