First of all, thanks for light-locker! Your contributions to open source are much appreciated.

I've been experiencing this problem for quite a while, have tried all of the solutions that I've seen on google, and have checked the reported issues here and nothing has worked. (Issue #61 seems similar but I'm not using XFCE) Hopefully I've not missed something, but if I have please point me in the right direction.

OS: Antergos (Arch) Linux Window Manager: Gnome 3.18 Display Manager: lightdm 1.16.7 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 Graphics Driver: NVIDIA

ISSUE: I enable light-locker (version 1.6 and have tried 1.7) and lock the screen. The screen goes black. I wiggle the mouse and the screen is on but is only black except for a large (low resolution) mouse and a square in the top right of the screen (which I believe might be the background selection button from lightdm greeter?).

I can then watch the mouse, when it turns to a hand, I click, move the mouse down a bit until I see the curosr, click, enter my password and unlock the screen.

Any thoughts?

I've checked logs like lightdm.log, x-0.log, x-0-greeter.log and have not seen anything that stands out. I'd be glad to provide any logs that would be helpful in troubleshooting. If we can figure this out, I'd be glad to help put together a PR for the fix if it is an issue with light-locker.

@cavalier38 is this project still being maintained?

@phutchins sorry for the late response. I've been out of the open source community for too long. I'm trying to pickup where I left.

Is this problem still relevant?

@cavalier38 "...out of the open source community for too long." Indeed, you've been sorely missed! Welcome back! :)

(Feel free to get in touch about other stuff like the Xfce panel, when/if you have time ;))
