So the 'Check' seems to be failing (when npm ci is run) as the package.json file (unsure which one) contains an 'engines' property that has npm ranging from version 7 or more but less than 8 and the current version of npm is 8 (not less then 8) resulting in EBADENGINE error, etc.

updated npm version to fix error.
