Error occurs if Webview2 runtime is removed from system or damaged. To resolve, ensure Webview 2 is uninstalled from system and reinstall from here, using the standalone installer. If desired, MS Edge can still be uninstalled via RevoUninstaller after this, and webview will remain intact.
Version 1.2.1.2 was working for me on Windows 10 Home x64 until just recently, and now produces an error every time it is launched. The app still functions in its entirety, but the UI completely fails to draw, making configuration from UI impossible. The app window appears completely white. Deleting and re-downloading does not help. Completed uninstall with RevoUninstaller before redownloading, but the problem persists. Cannot produce a normally working instance, even after rebooting system. Error message is as follows:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)."
